I’m Gaby Doman (aka Sweatpants Mofo), a thick-thighed, big-bottomed writer who got fed up with trying to starve and run my way to skinniness.

Good on you if you like running – I do not.

Now, I’m much happier working out and eating with a goal to get stronger and feel great.

I’m a powerlifting newbie (but have been lifting weights for a few years), yogi, kettlebell enthusiast and a big eater of eggs and
desserts.

My goal here is to encourage more women into the weight room and to add another voice to the wave of people calling bullshit on a mainstream fitness industry that pushes severe caloric restriction, self hatred, ineffective or dangerous workouts and body shaming.

Because, really, how healthy can any of that be?
